SUNFLOWER GAZE
DAY 8 OF THE LESLIE SAETA 30 PAINTINGS IN 30 DAYS CHALLENGE
I know, I do paint a lot of Sunflowers! However, they are fun to paint and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to paint them with a palette knife. If you haven't tried using a palette knife yet, I highly recommend it. You can get such beautiful, clean color and lots of texture. To get into tiny areas, just load the color on the knife and then wipe away all but the size of the area you are trying to cover...It's really fun to experiment with. Hope you enjoy!
