This was from a photograph also taken some time ago at the Mission in San Juan Capistrano, CA
I liked the idea of showing the "lifespan" from fresh and new to declining. I did intend for a wall to be shown behind the flowers but it somehow just didn't happen. Sometimes we just have to go with the flow.....
I'm doing a one-day workshop with Tom Balderas tomorrow so have finished two paintings today so that one will still be posted tomorrow.
