ORANGES AND COPPER
I tried to set this image so it would automatically post at 5 am this morning, but must have done something wrong as it didn't happen. When I just now checked in at 8 am it was still yesterday's post showing? Ah, this technology stuff is driving me crazy! I will persevere however...
The copper pot came back with me from France many long years ago and the bottle was found by my son, Dale, up in the hills behind our house. It actually has a rotted cork inside of it and appears to be quite old. I like painting still lifes, but what seems to take the most time for me is figuring out just what to paint and how I want it put together? I've heard it is the same for other painters, too. Seems it should be simple--just gather a few things you love together and start to paint, but it seems to be a lot more time-consuming.

Thanks, Pati. I love this combination, too, and think I will use it again today. Hope it won't be overkill...
DeleteI like your arrangement. I agree sometimes I spend more time arranging than painting. All to look natural.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sandra. I know...crazy, isn't it??
