A View of the Gazebo by Heisler Park in Laguna Beach, CA. While doing my show at Art A Fair in Laguna I took an hour to go down to the beach and took some pictures of the gazebo. While I am doing the show it is more important to be at the show (hopefully selling) than out on location painting so I have to be satisfied working from my iPad. It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed taking my shoes off and walking in the wet sand. Also got some lovely photographs to work from. I just love the neutralized colors you've used and how they all play so well together! I'm participating in the 30 in 30 as well...stretching to learn a new medium (gouache) and subject matter (landscapes)...and trying to comment on a few pieces each day that catch my eye. This was one of those today. Good luck in the rest of the challenge!
