CORK IN THE BOTTLE
This painting was done just because of the cork. This is the bottle my son found up in the hills behind our home many years ago. Maybe it was a soda bottle or a booze bottle, but it must be pretty old to have a cork in it. Doesn't really look like a wine bottle??? Who knows, at any rate I've enjoyed having it and now painting it....

Very Giorgio Morandi! The apple against the suble grays of the bottle is a simply genius stroke!
