I painted these palm trees once before several years ago and every time I see them they seem to ask to be painted again. They are beautiful and proud, thus the name "Roadside Sentinels". They are located near the Mission at the eastern end of Los Rios Street in San Juan Capistrano--away from the busy area where the restaurants are located. I think they are three friends withstanding the elements of time--much like many of us. Crazy, huh??Original Oil on Canvas Board
