GARLIC AND CLOISONNE--SOLD

This is a little cloisonne container that my parents-in-law had for many years.  They were stationed in China back in the 20's and brought back lots of "little jewels".  I grouped it with the orange slices for the color combination and threw in the garlic for good measure.

MR. WONDERFUL-SOLD

I called him Mr. Wonderful because is a very proud rooster.  I loved painting him with all his finery and beautiful colors.  He is one of the neighbor's chickens that comes under the fence into our yard.  I enjoy watching them root around and it's a good thing for us as they eat the snails and bugs.  I have a lot of iris plants and the snails used to be a huge problem, but not any more.  Long live the chickens!
